Quick but important update. LearnQt is being rebranded as Squared Academy, the training arm of our company, Squared Computing.

In short, Squared Computing builds the hardware, the firmware and the UI running on top, and Squared Academy breaks down the engineering behind it all, so you can learn and apply it yourself.
For the last 3 or 4 years, our work has taken us down the rabbit hole of embedded hardware and firmware. Qt, C++ and QML are still what we’re known for, but the scope of what we have to offer has outgrown the LearnQt name. So the name needs to change to match the work.
1. The Qt, C++ and QML content doesn’t change. The content stays exactly as it is. It only reaches deeper now, and gets to cover all those weird hardware devices where Qt and C++ end up running. We even dive into other GUI frameworks like LVGL and TouchGFX, and other languages like Rust and Python.
2. Courses and books are moving to Squared Academy. All of our courses and books will gradually move to squared.academy. We’re building this platform to not be noisy, and to give you all the info you need in one place. Until now, the videos lived on Teachable and the books on Gumroad. All of that will get a single digital home.
3. Our channels become Squared Academy. YouTube, LinkedIn, Discord, X and the others will all carry the Squared Academy name. We will try our best to share as much info as we can about the change as it happens. If you face any issue along the way, just shoot us an email at daniel.g@learnqt.guide and we will do the best we can to help out.
All future emails from us will come from a squared.academy address, not from learnqt.guide as they have for the last couple of years. If you are on our mailing list, you will get a formal announcement from us about this change.
We are not stopping our work on Udemy. We’re in fact updating the C++ 23 Masterclass to be 2026-worthy as we speak. If you’re enrolled in that course, be sure to check it out.
Nothing, really. Your courses and books are still where you left them, and the move will be gradual. We’ll announce each step as it happens, so you’re never left hunting for something.
If you want to see where this is headed, have a look at squared.academy.
Thank you for learning with us all these years. The best parts are still ahead.
Happy coding!
Daniel.
